Targeted Probe and Educate Has Resumed

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has initiated the Targeted Probe and Educate (TPE) program. For TPE, MACs will focus only on providers and suppliers who have among the highest claim error rates, or billing practices that vary significantly out from their peers.
